TLI31222 Certificate III
in Driving Operations

Overview
The TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations is an entry level qualification for learners employed in a transport and logistics job role, and may include those employed roles such as a - bus driver, coach driver, pilot vehicle driver, waste vehicle driver, concrete agitator driver, line haul driver, pickup and delivery driver and tip truck driver. To be issued the qualification TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations a learner must be assessed as competent in 15 units of competency. The units of competency including 5 core and 10 elective units, in the areas of work health and safety, communication, inductions, driving behaviours, loading and unloading, mass and calculations, documentation, induction and fatigue management.


Bant Training requires Learners to be employed in a driving role in logistics or transport to enrol in our delivery model as there are mandatory skills that need to be seen and can not be simulated.

Entry Requirements
Bant Training requires learners to already be employed in a compliant driving operations role The following local entry requirements apply to ensure applicants can fully engage in the course and have the required learning capacity to meeting the course requirements. Learners must:

Be currently employed in a driver operator role in a workplace

Hold a heavy vehicle licence relevant and required under the state or territory guidelines and issuance of the learner ’s employer and location

Have the support of the workplace to complete the requirements of the course and to provide the required facilities and equipment

Be able to commit to the course attendance requirements

Have suitable language, literacy and numeracy skills to perform workplace tasks such as measuring, weighing and comprehending written work instructions.
